Medi-Cal Beneficiaries: Renewal Notice

Your local county office will mail you a letter about your Medi-Cal coverage. The letter will tell you if your county office needs information from you to renew your Medi-Cal or if your Medi-Cal was renewed automatically. Check that your local county office has your updated information, such as your name, current address, email address, and phone number. Free Mental Health First Aid Courses

Providence is offering free. virtual Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses. Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance abuse challenges. Job Opportunity: Los Angeles County’s Youth at Work Program

Youth@Work provides work experience with a comprehensive and strategic set of employment, training and support services provided through a network of America’s Job Center of California. Los Angeles County residents ages 14 to 24, that have the right to work in the United States are eligible. Priority youth populations are school dropout, CalWORKs, Probation, Foster, Homeless, transition-aged youth (TAY), Low-Income households, LGBTQ, an offender, pregnant or parenting, have a disability, or are an English language learner. The Youth at Work program will help place LA County youth in a paid job that leads to a long-term career pathway in high-growth, in-demand industries. Free COVID-19 Antigen Test Available: Department of Public Health

The Department of Public Health has an ample supply of over-the-counter tests in our inventory, and are aiming to target high risk communities, as we have in the past. Please keep in mind once a request has been placed through the online form, the tests may take up to 2.5 weeks to arrive.
