This meeting is being conducted in accordance with Assembly Bill 361, which amends the Ralph M. Brown Act to allow local governments to continue conducting virtual meetings under certain circumstances.
Public Comment Instructions for the Public (Via Zoom) on Agenda and Non-Agenda Items
The County Administrator and Board of Education welcome input from the public.  Speakers wishing to address the County Administrator and the Board on agenda and non-agenda topics must complete the Public Comment Submission Form, prior to the County Administrator commencing the public comment period on the day of the Board meeting. 
Written comments submitted to the County Administrator and Board will no longer be read aloud by staff during the Board public comment period. Instead, written comments will be provided to the County Administrator and to the Board of Education for their consideration
Three (3) minutes will be allotted to each speaker, and a maximum of thirty (30) minutes for public comment on agenda items, and a maximum of thirty (30) minutes for public comment on non-agenda items will be allotted during the public comment period.  If the public comment cards exceed (10) cards per section, the County Administrator may reduce the time allowed from three minutes to either two (2) or one (1) minute, per person to hear from more speakers.  The guidelines for public comment will be in accordance with Board Bylaw 9323.
In order to discuss District business in an orderly manner, the District is requiring that public comments to the County Administrator and the Board of Education comply with certain procedures, including:
1. Your Zoom participant name, or phone number, MUST match the name or phone number entered on the Public Comment Submission Form, so that you may be accurately identified.  At the appropriate time, the County Administrator or designee will announce your name, at which time we ask that you click "Raise Hand" in the Zoom session.  You will be allowed to turn on your microphone and will have three minutes to address the County Administrator and the Board of Education.
2. Participants must be logged into the meeting via the Zoom link provided in the public comment submission form.
3. A speaker may not relinquish his/her time to another.
