Greetings Inglewood Unified Staff. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your hard work and dedication to educating our phenomenal students during this time. are phenomenal students during this time and always. We know transitioning to a virtual learning environment was challenging. But (as usual), the Inglewood Unified team met the challenge with grace and commitment. You did not allow the impact of the pandemic to interrupt student learning and their well-being. I send you endless gratitude. As we prepare for Simultaneous Hybrid instruction, this video is intended to showcase one of our own IUSD teachers, Mr. Miguel Pimentel, Miguel Pimentel who is the TK? Kindergarten teacher at Centinela School Mr. Pimentel has  been deftly utilizing his Viewsonic interactive whiteboards to facilitate distance learning. When you observe the video you will notice that Mr. Pimentel has opted to use two ViewSonic boards in his classroom and his suggestion we will issue to ViewSonic boards to every teacher will be teaching in our CDC, preschool, and grades TK-2 Simultaneous Hybrid Model classroom for Spring 2021. So this new Viewsonic I'm also going to go to my classroom. I will just go ahead and type classroom. then sign in And again I'm going to go to my class actually stream I have I have my my my Zoom login so just click on launching Zoom which everybody should know by now over open Zoom meetings and there I am. You log in and this is where the children are going to be. Channel computer audio there you go now you have a little camera up on the top and that's why I like it so then you can zoom you can go down and I see that there's a kid already there for me and so they need to swim in and you want them to be able to see the the screen behind me are you going to be going to have their work here so they have to be able to see whatever you write or whatever you reading and it's about 8:15, e okay and that's basically it that's basically it now you going to let your kids in. I just want to see who's here but we want this off so, so what we going to do is leave a meeting no no we don't want to leave maybe we just want to close that up I guess we just go like that and then we'll have all the kids here what's happening Kendra what's going on talk to me come on everybody wake up wake up good morning, good morning, good morning 123 good morning, good morning, hello and how are you? Oh, look at the Chameleon Slowly, the Chameleon climbs down the tree step and we got to go to the next page By step Ok by step. As our teachers transition to Simultaneous Hybrid instruction, we will provide continued professional development and support on using the interactive whiteboards. They are wonderful tools that we believe will heighten the engagement and access for our students. We know that this is a transition period and supporting you is our priority. We believe there are other teachers in IUSD who have had experience using the ViewSonic boards.  If you are one of those teachers please reach out to your principal or your coach to help us spread the word about the potential of using Viewsonic boards.
