NOTICE OF INTENT BID INFORMATION - CHARTER SCHOOL
 
OVERVIEW: The Inglewood Unified School District (“District”) invites charter school operators with a charter petition(s) authorized by the District or authorized to operate within the District (“Charter”) to submit a proposal to operate an educational facility and take ownership of a school site located at 3405 West Imperial Hwy., Inglewood, CA 90303 (“Facility”), as well as an adjoining (non-DSA compliant) property located at 3401 W. 113 Street, Inglewood, California (“Charter Property”). The selected Charter will be obligated to operate the Facility according to the terms required by both the State and the District.

The Notice of Intent (“NOI”) bid package provides more detail regarding the requirements, financial obligations, and fees associated with the operation of the Facility. Below are the basic terms for operating the Facility.

RFP #26.03 DISTRICT WIDE LEGAL SERVICES


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) invites sealed proposals from qualified law firms to provide legal services in the areas of general counsel, human resources, administrative services, facilities services, and education, as outlined in the Scope of Services. The District reserves the right to award contracts to multiple law firms.

Submission Requirements: Respondents must submit three (3) bound copies, one (1) unbound copy, and one (1) electronic copy on a USB flash drive. All materials must be labeled “Submittal for District-Wide Legal Services” and delivered to the Business Office at:

Deadline: Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM on September 4, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

INGLEWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND PROPOSALS (RFQ/P) # 25/26-003 LEASE-LEASEBACK CONSTRUCTION SERVICES 


Inglewood Unified School District (“District”) is seeking proposals from qualified persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations to provide constructability review, value engineering, master scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and construction services for the development and construction for the Oak St. School TK-K Campus Project (“Project”), in accordance with the lease-leaseback structure set forth in Education Code section 17406, et seq. The Request for Qualifications and Proposals (“RFQ/P”), which includes instructions for its completion, is enclosed for your consideration. Respondents to this RFQ/P shall submit a completed Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) along with the Proposal (collectively “RFQ/P Packet”). Respondents must mail or deliver five (5) bound copies, one (1) unbound copy, and one (1) electronic copy on USB flash drive of the RFQ/P Packet conforming to the requirements of this RFQ/P to:  Inglewood Unified School District ATTN: Procurement Services, Christopher Diaz RE: RFQ/P #25/26-003 ALL RESPONSES ARE DUE BY 4:00 P.M. ON Thursday, August 14 2025.This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement of compliance with prevailing wage requirements by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code § 1771.4, and skilled and trained workforce requirement pursuant to Public Contract Code § 2600. Contractors of all tiers must be currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code § 1725.5. All Respondents must be prequalified by the District in accordance with Public Contract Code § 20111.6. First tier electrical, mechanical and plumbing subcontractors must be prequalified prior to the time subcontractor bids are submitted.
 
NOTICE OF PREPARATION OF A DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
FOR THE INGLEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL RECONSTURCTION PROJECT
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Inglewood Unified School District (District), as lead agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) has prepared a Notice of Preparation (NOP) of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Inglewood High School Reconstruction Project (Proposed Project). IUSD has prepared an Initial Study and will prepare a focused EIR for the Project identified below:

Project Applicant: Inglewood Unified School District
Project Location: Inglewood High School is located at 231 South Grevillea Avenue, Inglewood, California, and is in the western central portion of the City of Inglewood within Los Angeles County, California. The Project Site is bounded to the north by West Manchester Boulevard, commercial uses, Inglewood City Hall and the Inglewood Public Library. Residential homes and a retirement community are located to the west of the Project Site, with residential homes and West Kelso Street to the south. Additionally, South Grevillea Avenue and a multi-family apartment building are located to the east of the Project Site.
Project Description: The Project would include demolition of the majority of the buildings located on the Project Site, the construction of six new buildings, and the modernization of two of the existing buildings. The Project would also include improvements to sports fields, courts, and lighting. Students and faculty at the Inglewood High School would be relocated to the Morningside High School, which is located approximately 1.8 miles southeast of the Project Site at 10500 Yukon Avenue, during the reconstruction of the Inglewood High School campus.
 
The Project would result in the construction of six new buildings on the Project site, which would provide a combined total of approximately 164,100 square feet (sf). New buildings would include:
 Building 1 - Administration and General Classrooms
 Building 2 - Food Services and Multipurpose Room (MPR)
 Building 3 - Science Labs and General Classrooms
 Building 4 - Student Life
 Building 5 - Career and Technical Education (CTE)
 Building 6- CTE and Music classrooms
In addition to the new buildings, the Project includes improvements to the Auditorium, Building O (Boys Lockers), and Building P (Physical Education and Girls Lockers). Recreational components include the demolition and reconstruction of the basketball and tennis courts, a combination softball/football/soccer artificial turf field at the western edge of campus, and installation of lights to illuminate the courts and fields. The Project also includes walkway improvements, utility improvements, parking and fire lane improvements, a new pedestrian entrance, lighting upgrades, and landscaping improvements.
 
Potential Environmental Effects: IUSD has determined based on the Initial Study prepared for the Project that an EIR will be required to analyze the Project’s potential environmental effects. Environmental issues identified as having the potential to result in significant impacts that require further evaluation in the EIR include: Aesthetics, air quality, cultural resources, energy, greenhouse gas emissions, geology and soils (paleontological resources), noise, transportation, and tribal cultural resources.

Public Comment Period for NOP: IUSD welcomes and will accept all written comments regarding the potential environmental impacts of the Project and issues and alternatives to be addressed in the EIR. All comments will be considered in preparation of the EIR. The comment period for the NOP begins on July 8, 2025, and ends on August 14, 2025.

INGLEWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) # 26.01 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES 


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Inglewood Unified School District (“District”) is seeking to establish a pool of qualified firms to provide construction management (“CM”) services for the District’s ongoing Measure I Bond Program projects as well other selected projects outside of the Bond Program (e.g., developer fee projects).


 Respondents to this RFQ should mail or deliver five (5) bound copies, one (1) unbound copy, and one (1) electronic copy on flash drive of their Submittal, labeled “Submittal for Construction Management Services” to:

Each Submittal must conform and be responsive to the requirements set forth in this RFQ. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received Submittals. Further, the District reserves the right to reject any and all Submittals and to negotiate contract terms with one or more Respondents for one or more of the work items. The District retains the sole discretion to determine issues of compliance and to determine whether a Respondent is responsive, responsible, and qualified.
