City Honors College Preparatory Academy News

The Inglewood Unified School District recently learned that Children of Promise Preparatory Academy (COPPA) sent a letter to parents claiming that IUSD’s reasons for denying the renewal of its charter were unfounded. While IUSD understands COPPA’s disappointment in the fact that their charter was not renewed, IUSD wishes to clarify several inaccuracies in their letter.

Please be informed that the LCAP Community Forum scheduled for March 10, 2020 at Morningside High School has been postponed.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25,2020 5:30-7:00 p.m.
at Inglewood High School.

Youth Business and Industry Job Shadow Day is a program that matches students* (16-18 years old) with a business of their choice to observe workers in action and experience firsthand how that business operates.

The School Site Council (SSC) is a decision-making body that represents all stakeholders of the school community. The school principal, teachers, other school personnel, parents and students make up this group; their primary responsibility is to identify common goals and assist the leadership team in establishing a plan to achieve the school's goals.
