hello I'm James buttemere the city of Inglewood as I greet you today it's Dad's me to share that we continue to see an increase in the number of positive covid-19 cases across LA County and in the city of Inglewood these cases represent unfortunate impacts and losses in our families and in our communities I want you to know the city council and I are committed to ensuring we do ever singing our power to address the needs of our city and the create the safest environment possible for our Inglewood city employees our residents are businesses and our community at large and we are one family as such effective Monday April 13th 2020 City Hall be closed for business for a. Of two weeks and we'll be open on Monday April 27th by appointment only during the closure the city will make sure all essential services are provided on March 17th 2020 I declared a local emergency and approved executive orders to protect businesses from Financial hardships due to the crisis the city council's ratified those orders the executive orders remain perfect as long as the local state of emergency or the state issued state of emergency remains in effect whichever is longer the executive orders include the following they provided protection for commercial tenants during the pure to emerge and allows those tenant 6 months after the orders lifted to pay any arrears rent ever been to local water utilities from shut off for non-payment do to cope with hardships during this emergency. And wavelength please analyze customer six months after the crisis to pay their arrearages it way City fees for trash collection from February 18th 2020 to March 17th 2020 the order void street sweeping tickets issued between March 16th and March 20/20 and refunds payments already made for tickets issued during those days it allows free use of City lots for Resident on street sweeping days Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. one the city hall parking lot to the library parking lot and 3 the city lot on Arbor Vitae Street and La Brea Avenue in the spirit of local emergency and it rebate any payments to any business owner that is already paid those fees for false alarms since the mercy.
