Welcome to Inglewood Unified School District's Professional Development Day! This event will be entirely virtual. If you need access to technology to complete your virtual professional development program, you are welcome to utilize District resources at your normal work location, if available, or we will provide you with access via the District Office. If you need access to technology, please email email@example.com
All participants District-wide shall virtually attend the event opener, which will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
County Administrator, Erika F. Torres, Ed.D., MSW, will welcome employees and present important District updates, which can be accessed by clicking here
Upon conclusion of Dr. Torres’ presentation, classified employees shall independently complete their virtual training program. All group plans include training related to customer service, communication, conflict management, diversity awareness, workplace injury prevention, wellness, and COVID-19 safety. The remaining modules in each group training plan
have been designed to target subject matter based upon classification.
Employees shall report to their normal worksite for the remainder of their workday. Employees who have been authorized to work remotely by their direct supervisor, shall resume their duties for the remainder of their work day from their offsite location. If you are unclear about the duties you should perform for the remainder of the day, whether onsite or remote, please consult with your supervisor.
If your normal work hours begin prior to 8:30 a.m., you may begin your training plan at the start of your shift. However, you must ensure that you attend the virtual opener at 8:30 a.m.
IMPORTANT! If your training plan exceeds your normal number of working hours, you will only complete the number of hours of training equivalent to your normal work day. There will be no overtime for Professional Development Day training.
